The 'striking distance' play

Filter the rankings list to show only keywords where you're ranked positions 5-15. These are 'striking distance' keywords — you're already ranking, Google already trusts the page, you just need a small push to break into the top 5 where most clicks happen.

For each one, look at the current ranking URL and ask: is the content longer and better than the top 3 results? Are the title tag and H1 optimized for this exact keyword? Are there internal links pointing at this page using this keyword as anchor text? Usually one or two of those fixes moves you 3-5 positions.
